Hope Chest.

Hello, Today I have a flimsy finish for you- When I saw this post for The pattern Hope Chest by Sherri McConnell ( a Quilting life), I knew what I wanted to do with my Fat Quarter of Elementary fabric. I just   this fabric! The colors and patterns in it, makes me happy.
I finished this last weekend, and with the sun out today, I decided to get some photos.
This is made up of HST and fun and easy to put together and the pattern is easy to follow.
I need to find some fabric for the backing, I want a flannel, but will keep looking for options.
I was out feeding my birds and thought it's not too bad outside, So I ran in the house got the quilt as well as my camera and by the end of getting these photos my hands were so cold.....BURRR, BURRR! The dog was loving it, he had the zoomies and was digging his face in the snow, not me....I zoomed into the house, LOL!
Thanks for stopping by and wishing you Quilty Hugs, Heide

  5. "He has the zoomies"--I have dog who gets those on a daily basis!! This is gorgeous Heide! It's perfect in the snow--lovely to meet another person who throws her quilts onto Mother Earth! Have you tried Minky on a quilt back? It's fabulous. Easy to work with.
