Doing a happy dance!! I just finished the mini of the circle of geese. I found the paper piece pattern here at Piece by number quilting.
I have been wanting to make this for a while, I do not know why I was intimidated with paper piecing. It came together quite easy.
One thing I do recommend is the pattern prints to patterns and you need 4, well make sure you read what direction you want this pattern to go, clockwise or counter clockwise. I did not! So I made 4 different squares and no matter how hard I tried I could not get it to circle. That is because I did not read the directions on the paper pattern. So now I just have to make two more squares and I will have two of these lovelies.
I have a few more finishes to show you all. I have been a busy quilter in these few short weeks of 2016. I am just trying to figure out how to get photos. It is super cold outside and No one wants to volunteer to hold up any of my finishes, and I don't want to leave the comfort of my warm sewing room or living room! Thanks for stopping by. Wishing you all Quilty Hugs. ~ Heide
