Best of 2015

I love Linkys!!
It is my favorite places to get inspiration for my quilting and learning new techniques. My blog is only a little older than 6 months so I have a few of my favorite projects to share with you all, So I am going to give you my top 4 favorites of 2015.
My all time favorite quilt this year was my Dog gone cute quilt. You can read more about it here.  I am so super happy with how this turned out.

Number 2 is this little quilt I made for my sister.
This is a hard one for me to give up. I LOVE the colors, I don't know what it is about the robin egg blue but I just love it! Its a good thing it is going to my Sister so I can visit it as often and I want, LOL!.

Quilt #3

My binding star quilt, The colors are so bright and the pattern was easy with a stunning effect. With mix emotions this quilt left the country with my cousin and I hope she is enjoying this in Germany.

Favorite #4-

This was a gift for my daughter, I just love the color. They are perfect with the colors in her room. I know she loves this for two reasons, One I made it for her and Two it is backed with minky fabric. She walks around the house with this wrapped around her.

I have had a few more project in 2015, I am so happy that I discovered quilting and it is one of my favorite hobbies as of now.  Look out 2016, I have a bunch of fabric stash and patterns that are coming your way!!
Wishing you all Quilty Hugs in the year to come! ~Heide

  5. The Dog Gone Cute pups were fun to make... if I were more of a dog person, I'd be tempted to make more. And I love those owls! You're right the colours are wonderful. They really pop against the grey background. The only thing that would make them better is larger blog pics to show them off! :)
