Here it is with my wonderful helper Guinness in the photo.
This is such a cute and fun pattern to make, and from what I have seen this last month you can make just about any thing with this pattern, pillow, back packs, mug rugs, wall hangings. I went with the standard quilt, That I am totally in love with!!! It is my favorite quilt to date.
Lorna's patterns are super cute and easy to follow, I am a newbie and I thought it was super easy to make each and everyone of the pups.
I took this quilt to a local farm house to get some photos.
In these two photos, You can see my backing fabric, which is cute little paw prints. I had it quilted in swirls with paw prints scattered through- out in a brown thread.
I just love a quilt after it has been washed and it is all puckered up. Like it shows in the photo above.
Did I mention that the pattern was super easy to follow
If you click on the photos you should be able to see the print of the fabrics better. Since this is a blog hop, I have some candy for you all. I would love it you follow my blog but it is not a must. You do have to leave a comment in order to win the candy.
Let me know what your favorite quilt is that you made.
I will have a drawing on the last day of the hop so you have until October 29th to leave a comment. ( Sorry US mailing only)
I have 4 fat quarters of this super cute fabric by Loralie Harris. How cute it this fabric, bones, paw prints and cute little dots. Very fitting for a Dog Gone cute Blog hop!

ReplyDeleteAbsolutely adorable! I'd love to follow your blog and will enjoy sitting some early morning, with my first cuppa, and scrolling through your archived posts.
ReplyDeleteI wasn't sure if you meant my favorite quilt to date on the hop, or a quilt of my own. I'm terrible at picking favorites anyway, so I'll just say I love all the cute dog quilts! And of my own quilts, my favorite is often the last one I've made. I recently made a paper pieced Eagle that I'm very excited about.
ReplyDeleteThe choice of red color really make your puppies super cute. Guinness is adorable too!!!

Great job on your quilt, I would never suspect you to be a newbie. What kind of dog is Guinness? We are think about our next fur baby, and would like something that size that didn't shed too terribly bad and had a nice personality. Would that be him maybe. He is so handsome.
ReplyDeleteThis is so cute! Love the fabrics you used for all your cute Dog Faces :)!
ReplyDeleteI love your choice of fabrics for your pups! I just finished up a quilt with flying geese borders and an appliqués loon in the center. Reminds me of my years in MN.
