Whispered lace Flimsy.

Hello and Welcome back, This week I have a finish. A few weeks ago I gave you a peek at some of the finished squares, well Drum roll please..... Here is the finished flimsy! What  a problem this gave me, not that the squares were hard, I did not have enough fabric, then a few time I messed up and had to take out my handy dandy seam ripper. But I was so excited that I had it all put together and ready to head to the quilter. I do need to pick fabric for the back, still not sure what I want to use. I must take this quilt for a walk, to the quilt shop and see what we can see!
Here is a close up of the fabrics.
And here is another view of the quilt in my favorite Fall tree in my yard.

Thanks for stopping by and do not forget to stop in on Thursday it is my day for Lorna's Dog Gone cute quilt, I am real excited for you all to see my Dog Gone Cute quilt!

Oh... and I will have a small give away on the day too.
Until then, wishing you Quilty Hugs,
Heide

  1. That's lovely. It looks like a tiled floor in some ancient Roman Villa. I'm not a fan of low volume fabrics normally but this was made for them

  7. Love your flimsy! The colors are so soft and delicate, from a distance it looks like shattered glass. Lori@ quiltmusings.wordpress.com
