Hello and Welcome, I have another finish for you this week. This is a binding star quilt that I made watching the video over at MSQ. Jenny made it look so easy that I had to give it a try. I just love how it turned out and the colors are so bright and fun.
Here is a peek at the back fabric and I had it quilted in a random star pattern with variegated thread. I was not sure as to how this would look and I have to say I love it. this is just what was needed for add something to the black fabric.
Here is another look at it. I did learn because I used a lot of black, I should of used black batting. Who knew that made black batting! LOL. This is a present for Family members that are coming to the US for a vacation as well as a visit. Thank for stopping in Love to hear what you think.
Happy quilty hugs to you.
Heide

Very pretty with all that black background. I had a chance to see the MSQ magazine today for the first time. A kind customer loaned me her 4 to look through while I have her quilt in the frame. They're super! I love MS for making great tutorials, and beautiful results. You did well!
ReplyDeleteHeide, this is beautiful! I love the bright colors too! I had no idea they make black batting! This is one craft I have wanted to do more of. I do have a Christmas quilt I need to finish! Maybe this is my inspiration to complete it! I will enjoy seeing your future creations! Thanks for sharing!
