Hi My Quilty Friends. A little something different for you today. I have been trying different patterns to make project bags for my cross stitch. I found this tutorial in YouTube here. It is a fast and easy project. I am pretty happy with how they turned out. The above is such fun fabric for summer and my strawberry stitching. I have been playing around with a few different patterns and not happy with them. I have about 3 bags in my sewing room that have not turned out, or that are in a time out because they were not working. So to get 4 of these done in about half a day I was super happy.
Here is one that is red white and blue for my Patriotic stitching. All bags measure 11" X 8".
I made two of these bags above, one will go to a friends.
and I made this one with some left over fabric from my stash.
I made 4 bags in about 2.5 hours it took me about 1/2 an hour to get the charms on each of the zippers pulls.
Thought I would pop in and show you what I am up too.
Until I see you again, Wishing you Quilty Hugs~ Heide
These are super cute! It's great to know that this is a particularly good tutorial. I struggle with zippers and bags :)
ReplyDeleteThese look great Heide. It's great to find a pattern that really works for you.
