Hello my quilty friends!
I am sharing a few of my little quilt projects that I worked on for the month of July.
Above it the cute little applique wall hanging that I made for my mudroom. I like to change it up in that room. So I made this cute, fun and colorful little wall hanging. I found this over at Leisure arts Inc you can find the link here.
My daughter heads off to College in 2 days ( insert sad face) and her room mate loves Pineapples. I made her a cute pineapple pillow to decorate the dorm room. I love the black and white binding!
Here is a Pillow that I made for my daughter, Mia I used the new book that I got from Jaybird quilts Called Alphabet Soup.
Oh my Gosh....these are so much fun to make! It is fun to watch these come together while you are sewing them. It does take two ruler that are also sold on Jaybirds site. I bought them over time because I want to make the quilt pattern Gravity, its on my list.
Thanks for stopping by and until I see you again, Wishing you Quilty Hugs~Heide

Your daughter's roommate is sure to love her pineapple pillow. And you are not the first person I've heard say that making letters from the Alphabet Soup book is very addictive. Those beautiful wildflowers will look wonderful hanging in your mudroom.
ReplyDeleteSo many of your projects make me smile, I love the pineapple pillow and the Alphabet Soup pillow is wonderful. Specialist rulers are expensive, I try to avoid buying them if I can but I just bought a Jaybird Hex n More, it is so expensive in the shops here but I got one from Amazon UK via their global store from dot com, even with paying postage it was a third cheaper, now I'm searching for what more they sell.
ReplyDeleteHeide,I love your clever projects. Especially the cone flowers...beautiful!
ReplyDeleteYour wall hanging and both pillows are super cute! Good luck in your daughter's new adventure! Hope you will be okay, mom....
