Hello my quilty friends! Hope you are all doing well, it is another hot muggy day here in MI. Not my favorite kind of weather. I tend to hide out in the house in the A/C.
Today I have a quilt that I made for my daughter's good friend. It is Graduation party time, so for her friend I made this cute little quilt. I love the bright fun colors against the gray and the fun scrappy binding, This is also a once in a chance photo. I walked away to take the picture and the quilt started to fall, and I caught it just as it was and now you can see the whole quilt! Lucky photo, LOL!
Here is a close up of one of my favorite stars. love the reds! I also thought the circle quilting was a fun choice for this quilt too.
Here is a look at the scrappy binding. The fabric is by Elizabeth Hartman, I used a 10" layer cake. and a sneak peek at the minky backing.
The pattern is on one of my favorite sites Missouri Star quilts. I love how this one turned out, it is going to be hard to give it away.
One more look at this beauty, I sure do hope the graduate likes it.
Thanks for stopping by and until I see you again wishing you Quilty Hugs~Heide
