Ribbon Star

Hello and Welcome! Today I have a flimsy for you. I made this quilt with a batik jelly roll that I won this past Fall. The pattern is a fun one from MSQ, I found it here on youtube. I know I always say this, but it is such a fun and easy pattern! The stars go together so easy and they are so cute.  I want to make another on of these quilt. Just need to made more quilts from my bucket list before I go back and redo a pattern. 
 My quilt holding model is my hubby, he said I had to give him credit since no one can see him.

 Here is a close up of the batiks that I used.
I won this wonderful Jelly roll at Demo days over at one of my favorite quilt shops in Brighton MI called Creative Quilt Kits or CQK.

    This is such a pretty quilt top, Heide. How nice that you won a lovely jelly roll and found the perfect pattern to use it! And you are so right to give your hubby credit for helping to get this great photo. It's not easy to find a good quilt holder and he deserves credit. Great job, both of you!

    What a lovely quilt top Heide! I remember I watched this video some months ago and thought it looked good .... I have now bookmarked it and am thinking of a Christmas quilt in this design. Thanks for the reminder!

    I love the colors of the jelly roll. This quilt pattern is going on my to do list. (It's growing as I see what everyone else is doing) Thank you for sharing, it turned out gorgeous! Are you going to keep it or give it away?

    Wow - this one is a winner too Heide! You have been on a fabulous quilt making roll lately!
    I know just what you mean about wanting to make some of your bucket list before you repeat a pattern... some of them are so tempting to sew again.
