Hello my quilty friends! Hope you are doing well. Today I have a quilt that I made for Hands 2 help, you can find more info about this over at Confessions of a Fabric addict. I believe this is my 3rd year participating with this charity quilt challenge.
Here is the full quilt I love the fun center panel the I used and the fun color outer fabrics. Sure to bring a smile and a cuddle to a child somewhere.
I had it quilted in red with this cute little paw print to go with the fun fabric.
I even made a pillow case with the left over fabrics.
This quilt is going to go off to Little Lambs foundation for kids.
Here is a little something about what they do.
Little
Lambs Foundation for Kids is a non profit 501(c)3 Organization
operating out of Utah which provides comfort kits to children ages
newborn to 17 years old who are transitioning into foster care,
emergency shelter or who have been hospitalized, by providing them with a
little comfort in a bag.
I thought this cute little quilt would bring some comfort to a little one.
I use a flannel for the back and binding to make it soft and increase the cuddlebility factor. As for the pattern, I kind of came up with it on my own.
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you go check out Hands 2 help. I know it is a great cause and you get to do something you like to help it.
Until I see you again wishing you Quilty Hugs~Heide
