Graduation gift.

Hello my quilty friends, Welcome! Well...it is that time of year again. Graduation time. Our family had a Graduation party yesterday. So what is a quilter to do? Make a quilt! This is what I made for the graduate.
I asked her Grandmother what colors she liked and I believe I hit the mark with this one. I wanted it to be modern so I used the great pattern by The Tulip Patch called Helix.
The fabric is from Craftsy a Lily and loom called Little Bee.

This is such a big quilt 70" X 90"and of course I used minky for the back. When the gift was opened the Graduate asked did you use the "Good stuff" for the back and was quite please to see and feel that I did!
I used this beautiful teal for the backing and My friend at Creative Stitching Services quilted it with the pattern called-Hawthorne.

Here is a photo of the Grad and I when she received the quilt.
Thanks for stopping by and until I see you again~ Wishing you Quilty Hugs~ Heide
