On the town bag.

Hello my quilty friends! Today I have a bag to show you. I was watching Fat Quarter shops you tube videos and they had a 4 part tutorial on how to make this bag. I love bags....I just am not the most experienced at them. I have to say the tutorial made it look easy...so much so that I ordered most of the supplies right then and there!
Boy did they come fast! So this past weekend I got to work.
Here is the close up of the button and the fun ruffle fabric that I made using stitch and steam.
I have to say that stuff is pretty cool!
Here is the back of the fun fabric(RJR fabric- designer Sarah Watts- Called Honeymoon) I bought about a year ago. Love the pink moons and little teal bats.
The fun alphabet fabric on the inside as well as the black pockets on both sides.
One last look of this cute little bag, I did change the handles. In the video they used wooden handles and I preferred to make my own. Thanks for stopping by Until I see you again wishing you Quilty Hugs~ Heide

Finish up Friday.
