Bounce and Swoon.

Hi Quilting friends, It been a few weeks since I have posted. I have been working on a few things and of course buying fabrics and patterns. I just have not been posting. One of my biggest challenges is photos. The weather was not cooperating, I don't really have a great place in the house to take photos and it is something I do need to work on, taking better photos. Some thing are in my hands to make it better and some are not like the weather, it is something I am going to try and work harder to do.
Let me get to some of the things I have been up to.
I sent Bounce, off to a friend to get quilted and it came back looking FAB! Diane Ogg, did a wonderful job with it. She said she did a bunch of re-search and I am so  glad she did! I think it is wonderful. I will let you be the judge.

Look and the lines at the edge of the quilt, GEORGOUS!

I just love the blue star and the swirls in the center!
Look at those super bubbles near the border.
This quilt turned out even better that I expected. I have it hanging upstairs in the hall way, so I get to see it every morning, Love it! Thank you Diane Ogg- Creative stitching Service!

I am also working on a quilt for Hands 2 Help. You can read more about it over a Confessions of a Fabric Addict.

Here is what I have been working on.
Swoon, by Camille Roskelley- Thimble Blossoms.
The little red pick up trucks make me smile.

Here is a little peek at a few of the blocks.

This is such a fun Quilt to make the Squares are Huge!!!  24.5 inches square, so it is going to make a nice size quilt. What do you thing of the fabric, can it go masculine? I am going to add a black border and then a black print. Well that is it for now, Thanks for stopping by, until I post again....Wishing you Quiltiy Hugs~ Heide

  2. Stunning! The quilting really accentuates the quilt pattern. I think, yes, with the addition of some black prints, your swoon quilt could be masculine!

  6. Bounce turned out fantastic Heide! It was so beautiful already and the quilting absolutely did it justice.
We were thinking of putting some sort of board up outdoors to use to hang quilts for photos. I found a storage shack at a nearby park that works well too. Like you said though - the weather has to cooperate.
A Swoon quilt for H2H - wow that is wonderful Heidi! I think it will work for men or women.
