A small finish

Hello and Welcome. Today I have a small finish for you. A finish is a finish no matter how small......Right?
This is a cute little fox mug rug that I made. I got the pattern over at Craftsy, and I think it was free when I got it. I like free, don't you!!! The one above it my second little mug run, the first try is a little sad, I will show you below. I watched a bunch of videos over at You Tube and learned some tricks of the trade!
Here is the first try.
Poor little guy has some crooked legs and a skinny tail. I really enjoy paper piecing and want to work on a larger piece soon. Thanks for stopping by and wishing you Quilty Hugs~Heide

  1. You've got two cute foxes here. Paper piecing does take getting used to, doesn't it.

  3. Both are very sweet foxy mug rugs, Heide. And good for you giving it another go! I have only tried paper piecing once. Glad to hear you are looking forward to piecing more of these style of blocks. You must have enjoyed it!

  4. Heide both of those little foxes are so cute! I do love the addition of the brown leggings on your second one. It's a great pattern and must have been a lot of fun to make these.
