Owl Quilt

Hi Friends! I have a new flimsy for you. I finished this last weekend and it will be a Christmas present for my teenage daughter. Her room color is blue with the green accents so this will go perfectly to keep her all snuggley warm. I usually find her under 3 blankets studying when I pop in her room to talk to her, so I am sure this will be one of her favorites since she also love owls.  I am waited for the backing to be shipped so I can send it off to the quilter.

This is a pattern from Elizabeth Hartman. I also got the color inspiration from Adrienne from Chezzetcook Modern quilt she made Carlos and I loved his color combo and knew right then that I had to make some for Mia.

My color combo is all Kona Solids- ( From lightest to darkest blues) Jamaica, Turquoise, Pacific, pear and parrot. The Gray is from the burlap solid- Heather gray.
Hopeful the weather will brighten up this weekend and I can try some outside shots. Wishing you all some Quilty hugs, Heide
