Christmas quilt 2020.

Hello my Quilty friends! Happy Holidays. I have a fun quilt for you today. This is a quilt I started last year in a Farm Girl vintage sew along group. We would meet monthly at a shop and sew for the day. I did not want to make the normal Farm girl quilt, I picked one block and made it over and over.
Here is an up close of one of the blocks. I used Lori Holt's Farm Girl Vintage Christmas.  This block is called Holly and Ivy. These photos do not do this quilt justice. The fabrics are just gorgeous

You can see some of the beautiful fabrics in this photo.

This was a selfish sew, I am using the quilt as I type up this post. I have to say, I think it would of been good with just 9 blocks. Just enough to get nice and cozy while watching movies or reading a good book.

I used a fun evergreen minky for the back and it has this fun sparkle to it.

One last peek before I go. I want to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and here's to a much better New Year for all of us! Until I see you again, Wishing you Quilty Hugs~Heide

  1. It's festive and beautiful! I like that you chose the single block to repeat over the entire quilt. Sometimes samplers just get too busy and this lets the pretty fabrics really shine. Congrats on a lovely finish :)
