Hello my quilty friends! Today I have a finish for you , This is a pattern form MSQ called Royal Wedding.
I made this for a wedding gift.
I love the blues and beige's together. The fabric used is mostly a layer cake called "Something blue" by Edyta Sitar. I also used "Snow" Soild and the darker beige is a fabric that I had in my stash, I bought it a few years ago and I do not remember what it was called.
This also turned out to be quite a large quilt with just using a layer cake, About 70" X 70".
Here is the backing, I used left over 10" squares and two other fabrics from my stash to make something large enough to work.
This quilt is such a cuddly quilt, the fabrics are soft and the quilting was a medium density to give it a lovley loft.
Because this pattern is a wedding pattern, this quilt will be a wedding gift! A nephew is getting married this spring and I thought it would be a perfect gift for the couple.
One last full look at this quilt. Thanks for stopping by and until I see you again. Wishing you Quilty Hugs~Heide
