I have an easy breezy table runner for you. I was inspired by @Thelmacupcake over at Instagram, she made some beautiful white pumpkins. Thanks Thelma!
So ....I thought I can do this. I drew a quick sketch of 5 x 5, 2 1/2 inch squares to make a pumpkin shape. and this is what I came up with.
Here is a closer look at the larger pumpkin and the two smaller ones which are 1 1/2 inch sqares.
Here is one of the smaller pumpkins.
For the backing I used some fun fall color fabric from my stash. The brown binding looks very nice on my dinning room table and the white pops. I thought this would be great for fall and due to the larger open space in the center of the runner, you could put a vase or a larger center piece.
Thanks for stopping by and until I see you again, wishing you Quilty Hugs~ Heide

Lovely size for the runner, and a plate would fit there so well. or a vase, even with twigs or berries at your time of the season.
ReplyDeletePretty! The white pumpkins are more versatile, too, I think.
ReplyDeleteVery lovely! I like that there's an empty space for a centre piece, as you said.
ReplyDeleteI love pumpkins in any color! I also really like how you've placed these. Nice finish!
ReplyDeleteTruly gorgeous project!
