Today I have a finish for you all, a simple cute fall quilt. This is one I saw in one of my local quilt shops and I fell in love with the fabrics. Great for Halloween and good until December to use and stay cozy warm on the crisp cool Autumn nights. The fabric line is called Candelabra by Verna Mosquera for Free Spirit.
Here is a CU of some of the sweet fabrics.
With my left over fabrics I made this adorable BOO pillow. This is a pattern from Peta @ She Quilts Alot that I found over at Craftsy.
Here is a peek at the yummy super soft backing in Cuddle called Mandarin and the beautiful quilting that was done.
The binding was done in a cream and black dot that keep me warm and toast this weekend while at a soccer game up in Wisconsin. Thanks for stopping by and until I see you again wishing you Quilty Hugs~Heide

ReplyDeleteThis is indeed a lovely collection of fabrics and you assemble them beautifully. Those quilt and pillow look warm and comfortable. :-)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful fabrics! I just want to curly up under that quilt with a nice up of tea. And the Cuddle on the back is so bright and fun.
ReplyDeleteThese are really pretty! Especially loving the pillow♥
ReplyDeletewow the orange backing on the quilt is amazing. I love the colour choices
ReplyDeleteThe quilt and pillow look so perfect together Heide! The loopy quilting makes the Minky look even cuddlier. Love the orange!
ReplyDeleteInteresting how the pillow coordinates so well with the quilt but the quilt is not a halloween project. So you can pull out the quilt for the entire fall, and use the pillow for Halloween. Great way to mix and match and add to the decor. Wow, that orange backing looks fabulous!
